Understanding Christianity
Salvation- we have begun learning about the Easter story and it's importance to Christians. Today the children heard the story of 'Palm Sunday' and then had a go at acting out the parade! They waved palm leaves and played instruments whilst listening to 'Hosanna'
Continuing with the Easter story, the children have been making their own Easter gardens
We made our own hot cross buns, which helped us to remember Jesus dying on the cross
We are returning to the Creation story and thinking about the creatures that Christians believe God created. The children used water colours to paint their favourite creature and thought about why that creature is special.
