A practical maths session today!

Watch the video about making equal groups.

Then, explore your house - can you make equal groups with items from around your home? Why not get outside (in your garden or out for a walk) and collect items from nature to sort.

First find 10 items - can you split them into 2 equal groups?

Then try and split them in to 3 equal groups, 4 equal groups, 5 equal groups.

Try finding more items 12, 14, 20  -how many different groups can you split them into?

I can't wait to see how you get on!
