We have had Tracy from the solar farm with us. We looked at different toys that are powered by solar power and how they work differently with artificial light and natural light.
We have looked that different components of the toys, including solar panels, buzzers and wires.
And the best part, we have designed our own toys to make after lunch!
We spent the afternoon making our toys. We had to incorporate the solar circuit in our design. This meant we needed to make sure the sunlight could get to the solar panel.
Finally, we tested them outside in the sunshine.
