WALT: write a recount

I hope that you all enjoyed a super half term? 

Today, we are going to think and chat about all the exciting things that you have been up to over the past week and we are going to plan a recount. You will be great at this as we did something similar about the snow that we enjoyed last month. 

We will work through our plan together during the live lesson but, in case you are unable to join us, this is what you need to do.

Think about what you did over half term - come up with at least three things.

Write the long date and WALT neatly in your book (don't forget to underline your date!).

Then, draw a wavy line down the centre of your page. 

Now, add what you got up to along the wavy line.

Remember: 

• add the events in chronological order - that means in the order that they happened
• include adjectives to bring your recount to life
