CONSULTATION: DSAT ADMISSIONS POLICY 2024-25
For the first time, we are moving to a single admissions policy across all our schools. The admissions criteria are largely unchanged from previous individual school policies which were all based on the same model.
We are proposing to make a number of small changes to the Published Admission Numbers in some of our schools. These are detailed overleaf on page 2 of the letter below. These changes are to reflect the current need in our communities and are based on our knowledge of numbers over recent years. We do not anticipate this creating admissions issues for local families or schools.
As a result of these changes, we are required to carry out a consultation process.
A copy of the policy is available by clicking this link here or by typing the address into your browser. If you require a paper copy, please ask at your school’s office: https://www.dsat.org.uk/consultations/
Alongside the policy, at this link, is an online form you can complete if you have any comments. Alternatively, you can email office@dsat.org.uk with ‘Admissions Policy’ in the title or respond in writing either to your school office or the address above.
The consultation runs from Wednesday 19th October 2022 until Wednesday 7th December 2022.
Trustees will then consider any responses to the consultation before publishing the final policy early in the new year.
Thank you for your support.
