Today we are going to complete a STEM activity to test the strength of towers.

 

WALT: make predictions.

 

Can you watch the beginning of the video but pause it, before you test the strength of your towers. 

 

Year 1 - Before you start to test the strength of your towers, tell your grown up what you think is going to happen? We call this making a prediction. 

 

 Which shaped tower do you think will be the strongest?

 

 

Year 2 - Before you start to test the strength of your towers, please talk about your ideas with a grown up and then, write your own prediction. Which shape do you think will be the strongest and why?

 

Now, watch the rest of the video and test your towers.
