WALT: spell correctly
Rainbow spelling
First, pick seven tricky words to practice by clicking on the link below:
Next, write them down onto small pieces of paper - use a different colour of the rainbow for each word.
Now, hide them around the house.
After that, draw a rainbow onto a piece of paper (or print out the template below) Put a small dash of colour at the bottom of each arc (or write the colour)
Finally, go on a word hunt around your house. When you find a word, write it as many times as possible in the correct arc.
WALT: understand texts.
If you have time, I would like you to retell a story to your grown up or to a group of your toys.
Try to make the story sound as exciting as possible? You could you use different voices or act out the story? Maybe you could use props to help your story come alive?
When you have performed your story, tell it again but this time, change the story slightly. Maybe change the characters or the ending to the story.
