Talk 4 Writing

In Oak Class we have a word of the day. Each day we discuss what the word means, then find synonyms and antonyms. Extra points if we manage to use the word correctly during the day!

We have been looking at Explanation Texts in Our English lessons. Our original text was 'Why dragons are extinct.'

We use a text map to help learn the text before writing our own version.
After looking at the features of an explanation text we had a go at innovating the text. We chose to go with 'Why dinosaurs are extinct.'
