WALT: use imaginative description

Watch the video below, 'Once in a Lifetime'

Set in a fantasy world, a man is sailing in his boat, through the air! He hears a noise and suddenly gliding into view are some giant. flying turtles. 

Year 1 - Where could the turtles be taking him?

Have a think and then write down where you think the turtles might take the man and why. 

I think that....because....

Remember Capital letters, full stops and finger spaces!

Year 2 - Think about what the man might say to the turtles and how the turtles may reply. Can you write down their conversation?

Remember what we learnt about bursting the speech bubble and the bits of the balloon being left around the speech.
