WALT: spell correctly

You will need:

paper

coloured pens or pencils

a dice

First, you need to draw a big heart on your piece of paper.

Next, pick 6 different words for the Common Exception words list below.

After that, write the words 1-6.

Finally, roll the dice. Whichever number it lands on, you have to write that word inside your heart.

Keep on going until the heart is full!

WALT: understand texts.

Today, I would like to retell your favourite story to your grown up or to a group of your toys.

Try to make the story sound as exciting as possible? You could you use different voices or act out the story? Maybe you could use props to help your story come alive?

When you have performed your story, tell it again but this time,  change the story slightly. Maybe change the characters or the ending to the story.
