We looked at different materials to see which one would be best to protect our eyes from harmful UV light. We used beads that turn a different colour in sunlight tp help show which materials protects the best.

In Science, we have been looking at what light is and how it works. Using beads that react to sunlight we looked at the impacts of UV light. 

Today we created our own food chains. We discussed which animals are herbivores, carnivores and omnivores. We also looked at consumers, predators and prey.

We have been investigating tooth decay in Science. We put eggs into a cup of milk, water, cola and tea. We predicted what we thought would happen, waited a week and then took them out of the cups to examine. 

In science we have been looking at the functions of a skeleton. We discussed how bones help us move and had a go at creating a moving hand using cardboard, paper straws and string.
