Spelling

Create your own Suffix flower.

Choose a suffix you have been practising in your spelling lessons and create your own flower.

Place the Suffix in the centre of the flower and on each petal write examples of words that use it. You can write down what the suffix means on the pot.

Here are some examples of suffixes:  ful, less, ness, y, tion, ous, ious  etc....

If you want to get creative with real loose parts, why not go outside and create your own flower using loose parts such as leaves, petals, and pebbles and use a pen to write on them? Or, use chalk to draw your own example on the ground outside.

Challenge: Can you create a bouquet of flowers with multiple suffix examples?
