The Gingerbread Man 2! The children have begun imitating a story to create their own. They have changed the characters to different creatures of their choice.
Setting- Today we went on a walk around Wimborne St Giles village to look at different places we could have in a story. We found a river, a church, a forest and many more!
Story maps- some of the children created their own story maps and used them to re-tell 'The Gingerbread Man' story.

To help us get ready to learn the story of 'The Gingerbread Man', Ash Class made their own gingerbread men! We followed a recipe, weighed out ingredients and designed and decorated them- so fun and delicious :)
