Solar Farm
Tracy from the Solar Farm came to visit us. We learnt more about how solar panels can be used and other renewable energy sources. We had a go using a solar cell to make a circuit and investigated where in the school would be the best place for a solar panel.
We went to visit the Verwood Solar Farm. We learnt what solar panels are, what they do and the materials used to make them. We also did our own biodiversity study. We looked for different types of plants, birds and insects.
