Forest Church
Tomorrow's worship will also not be on line on Zoom, but instead we are going to be taking part in Forest Church and holding our Collective Worship time outdoors using some ideas from Prayer Spaces at Home. Prayer Spaces enable children and young people, of all faiths and none, to explore life's 'big' questions, spirituality and faith in a safe, creative and interactive way. Taking a broadly Christian perspective as a starting point, prayer spaces give children and young people an opportunity to develop skills of personal reflection and to explore prayer in an open, inclusive and safe environment without being given a specific standpoint or religious point of view. Attached with this email are two ideas to try at home during the Collective Worship time slot - Labyrinth and Hopeful Hopscotch (you don't have to do them both).
If you preferred, you could spend the time outside reflecting on the theme of the last two worship sessions: the beauty of the world and snowdrops as a symbol of hope.
