Elm

Welcome to Elm Class. Our Year 1 and 2 children are taught by Mrs Corbett, supported by Mrs Crighton and Mrs Haynes.

In Elm Class, we work together to develop independence, build confidence and extend our skills through a range of child-led learning experiences and exciting topics.

21st June 2018

What a busy week!

We have produced a CD of WSG favourite songs, had our portraits and class photos taken and took part in a Sports Festival alongside three other schools!

The Sports Festival was a great opportunity for the children to mix with pupils from other schools. In groups, they took part in 5 different sporting activities throughout the morning. Each activity encouraged them to work together and to challenge themselves. Our favourite activity was most certainly the archery!! All the children had a go, all managing to successfully fire an arrow and some hitting a target! They all demonstrated our values of unity and perseverance and were a credit to the school. I've uploaded some pictures below.

We also continue to plan our stall for the school fete on Friday - we have made posters to promote our chocolate fountain and biscuit decorating stall.

I look forward to seeing you all at the fete.

Mrs Corbett.
