This afternoon, we had Mrs Holmes back in with us for Art. We looked at a few pieces of abstract art and the process of printing. Using cardboard, string and paint we had a go at creating our own artwork.
When we had finished, we took a long around the Oak Class gallery admiring other peoples work.
In design and technology we are starting to study textiles. Today we had a go at cross stitch.
We looked at the artist Megan Coyle and how she uses the collage technique to create her pictures.
She takes common everyday magazines and turns them into works of art.
