Roots and Fruits Collective Worship

In Collective Worship we sometimes use a resource called 'Roots and Fruits'. This uses stories, poetry, art and drama to bring to life well-known stories and words of wisdom from the Bible.

Each worship session (The 'Roots') follows a set pattern and includes 4 elements – Welcome, Learning, Reflecting and Responding – which match to a Window, Mirror, and Door structure. Throughout the half term, children are provided with opportunities to reflect on a different value in a weekly class session ('The Fruits').
Parents have the right to withdraw their child from Collective Worship, please see Mrs Hill for more information about this.
