'Together We Grow: Together We Give'

Grow & Give

We grew as story tellers today as we shared stories with Ash Class. It was lovely to see the children sharing books together.

During Grow and Give time this week, we made our own Values bookmarks. We coloured and cut carefully and read the Bible verses together.

We have been Growing as Artists, by developing our sketching skills by observing and carefully drawing natural objects including feathers, shells and fir cones.

During our first Grow and Give time of the term, we grew as bakers. First, we explored the school grounds for blackberries. We enjoyed hunting high and low then carefully picked plenty of juicy berries.

After washing our hands, the blackberries and our tables, we worked hard rolling, cutting, filling and folding to make our own blackberry turnovers.

No photos of the finished pastries but I think everyone enjoyed devouring them.

Huge thanks to Mrs Spencer for ensuring the pastries were cooked in time for the end of the day.

We thought about the Queen and what she meant to us.
