Procedures if your child is ill

 

 

 

 

What to do if your child is ill:

• Telephone the school office on 01725 517347 on the first day of absence to explain why your child is away from school. There is an answerphone where you may leave a message if the office is closed. 

• Keep school informed if the absence is more than two or three days

• Please bring a note on your child’s return to school. Verbal messages via the children are not sufficient. Unexplained absences are always classed as unauthorised absences.
