On our doorstep
Our final topic for the year is a Geography based one looking at places around where we live and go to school.
We will be exploring using maps with a variety of scale and trying out some orienteering. Our year 4 group will be getting to know Cranborne, especially the Middle school and the seaside at Osmington Bay, near Weymouth.
Whenever we have a dull day we will be able to pretend we are on the beach as we have our very own beach hut in the classroom. It is filled with picnic things, postcards, crab nets, buckets and spades.
