Seed Diary

I hope that you have been looking after the seed that you planted? Please can you check on your seed today - has is started to grow yet? What does it look like now?

Last week, we started our seed diary. Please can you return to your diary  (it should be at the back of your book) and underneath  last weeks date, please can you write today's date and write down what the seed looks like now.

For example:

03.02.21 - a tiny, light green shoot has appeared.

Science Experiment

WALT: gather and record data.

Watch the video below and then have a go at making your own straw plane.

You will need to carefully measure how far your plane flies.

Can you make a change to your plane? Maybe use a smaller straw or thinker paper?

What happened? Did it fly further? You will have to measure carefully.

Have fun!
