Worship Team

Meet our Worship Team! The Worship Team help with the leading of whole school and class worship across the school. The Worship Team were selected through a class vote of all children that wanted to be involved.  Currently, the Worship Team are looking at ways to develop Spirituality and evaluating the prayer spaces and reflective areas throughout the school.

We also meet on a weekly basis alongside the Collective Worship Leader, Mrs Hill, to record children’s reflections and perceptions on worship in the school and to plan the worship we are going to lead. It is a great opportunity for us to reflect upon what is going well and also to suggest new ideas.  This allows learners to improve our Collective Worship and other areas of our Christian Distinctiveness around school.

Flippin’ Praise is a resource designed to help us plan worship. It introduces a four-part structure: Gathering, Engaging, Responding, Sending. The book has pages to ‘flip’ over so we can mix and match ideas for different parts of Collective Worship.
