Salisbury Cathedral Trip
Today the whole school enjoyed an excellent day at Salisbury Cathedral. The whole day was a wonderful experience, filled with much awe and wonder. Everyone was overwhelmed by the grand size of the cathedral and its gothic architecture. The children were given a interactive guided tour by the education officers which included:
-
A place of worship tour
-
Silence/thanksgiving activity
-
Vestments/Artefacts workshop
The children were also able to visit the Magna Carta exhibition, seeing the actual document that was presented to King John!
We had lunch outside and then took part in a very calming Collective Worship before we set off home.
