• Year 4 Osmington Residential

  The Year 4 children had a fantastic time at Osmington PGL near Weymouth. The 3 day residential included a range of exciting and adventurous activities such as archery, abseiling, quad biking and the zip wire. We studied marine ecosystems at the Weymouth Sea-Life Centre before we went up the panoramic tower. The children had a great time taking part in different team building games and then the disco on the last night!

  

• Worship Team Spiritual Walk

  This week the Worship Team took part in a spiritual walk around the village of Wimborne St Giles. The children had previously said that they would like to carry out a walk so that they could take photos of 'things that are beautiful'. The children also asked for these photographs to be used as part of the 'gathering' when we come together for Collective Worship. The children commented on the beauty of different flowers, leaves, trees and the river that flows through the village. The children also took time to say a prayer in the newly refurbished woodland area in the school grounds where they thanked God for our wonderful  world and wished peace for everyone.
