  • An amazing last week of term

    Fri 18 Dec 2020

It’s been another amazing week at WSG! We had a really special Christingle service in our Wild Woods which gave us all a lovely moment of stillness and reflection amongst all the excitement of the past few days. Thank you so much to our families who came to support as we shared the carols later on outside school too. Then yesterday....our soundtrack arrived, followed by the DVD of our Christmas play! It was wonderful to be able to share a special screening with the children this morning and with parents this afternoon. Weren’t they all amazing?!! May we take this opportunity to thank you all again for all of your support over the past few months. We are truly overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity and, although different this year, we are so privileged to have been able to share our Christmas celebrations with you. Have a wonderful Christmas. With love from us all at WSG

  • Something Amazing Going on at WSG

    Wed 16 Dec 2020

There was definitely Something Amazing Going on today at WSG!

We were absolutely blown away by all of our talented children's incredible performances this morning as we filmed our school play. We are so unbelievably proud of each and everyone of them.

We also finished recording the accompanying soundtrack and this is being couriered across the country to us for delivery tomorrow! Well done WSG - you are such superstars

  • Magical Christmas Experience Day

    Fri 11 Dec 2020

Wow!!!! What an amazing Christmas Experience Day we have just had!!! We started the day recording a Christmas album, then headed off to a Woodland Winter Wonderland to visit Father Christmas, post our Christmas letters and enjoy hot chocolate and s’mores around the campfire!

Next stop was a wide range of exciting outdoor Christmas crafts and then we headed back inside to hang our homemade decorations on the big tree in the Hall. Our day ended with a Christmas disco with goodie bags and then we headed outside to share some Christmas songs and cheer with our wider school community!

In another amazing surprise, we even got to take home our very own individual Christmas trees! A huge and heartfelt thank you to our incredible PTA who worked tirelessly in the lead up to today and on the day itself to organise and lead all the Christmas events, to the Governors for funding the Christmas disco and food, to the staff for all of their hard work and to our children who were fabulous throughout. It was an utterly magical day and we feel so privileged to have shared it together. #togetherwegrow #makingmemories #Christmasmagic
