Magical Christingle Service
Tue 14 Dec 2021The spirit of Christmas was certainly with us this morning as we celebrated our annual Christingle service. We were delighted to back where we belong, in the church. Oak Class children read beautifully and all the children sang their hearts out. As we lit our Christingles and sang our song in the candlelight, it was truly magical. Thank you to all the families who were able to join us. #TogetherWeGive #TogetherWeGrow

WSG Christmas Fair begins the countdown to Christmas
Fri 03 Dec 2021It was definitely looking ‘a lot like Christmas’ as we all gathered on the village green to celebrate our Christmas Fair. We began with the beautiful sound of the St Giles Church bells and then we were able to enjoy all kinds of festive fun and treats along with a visit to Father Christmas’ sparkling grotto! It was just wonderful to be together again and we were even able to squeeze in a few carols with WSG past and present. A huge thank you to our AMAZING PTA for yet another brilliant event, to the St Giles Church bell ringers for the beautiful bells and the loan of power, to Lord Shaftesbury, the Shaftesbury Estate and the Village Hall for the loan of equipment and helping us to set up. Finally, thank you so much to all who came along to support us. It was a magical way to start the Countdown to Christmas. #christmasmagic #togetherwegrow #togetherwegive #togetheragain
